If you have been sent this link, you are looking to place an investment in Novus Black Fund UK Ltd. Please make sure you have read and understood the Information Memorandum in full, paying close attention to the risk warnings.

Step 1 Globacap Introduction

To begin your onboarding process, please open your emails on your mobile phone (or laptop if it has a webcam), and look for an email from Globacap LTD, our Cash Custodian. Once you have found the email, please click the pink button that says “Register & View Offer”. This will take you to their website where your onboarding process begins.

NOTICE: Please check your spam folder if you can not find your email.

Step 2 Register For Globacap

Next you will be presented with a screen welcoming you to Globacap (our FCA regulated Cash Custodian). Please now create your account by entering your email address and setting a password.

Step 3 Select Account Type

Once you have registered, you will be asked to specify what type of account you are opening. Please use the following:

  • Individual Investor – select this if you are investing as yourself and investment money will come from a personal bank account.

  • Institutional Investor – select this if you are investing as a company, or money will come from a corporate account such as a pension or other managed account.

Step 4 Enter Account Information

Now you will need to enter your personal information. In order to comply with Anti Money-Laundering regulations, you are required to provide your ID to make an investment. Therefore, please make sure the details you provide here match your passport or driving license.

Step 5 Continue Onboarding

In order to place an investment, Globacap must now ensure you are eligible to invest in Novus Black under FCA regulations. Please continue to the eligibility check by clicking the pink button “onboard”.

Step 6 Eligibility Check

Due to regulations, Novus Black is only available to Sophisticated Investors, High Net worth Individuals, and Investment Professionals. We are not allowed to accept investment from Regular Investors. Please indicate here which type of investor you are.

Step 7 The Deal Summary

You now have the opportunity to read through the Novus Black Fund UK LTD deal page – this is the same information as the Information Memorandum.

Click on the deal “Novus Black Fund UK LTD (STD)” to view the deal page.

Please proceed to the next step when you are ready to place an investment.

Step 8 Verifying Identity

In order to place an investment, Globacap must now complete your ID checks. This is known as a KYC (Know Your Client) and will involve you uploading your ID documents, and completing a very simple live camera check. 

Make sure you have a camera on the device you are using and then please click the pink “Invest” button, then click “Verify Me”

Step 9 Let's Start ID Checks

Firstly, you’ll be asked to take (or upload) a photo of your ID – we recommend using your Passport or Driver’s License. Once you have selected your ID choice, please proceed to the next step.

Step 10 Photo ID

Please make sure you have your Photo ID of choice to hand and place it on a flat surface. Then move your camera and align the edges of the ID with the dashed white line. Then click the circle button at the bottom to take the photos.

If you have issues, please take a photo separately and click “Upload Manually” to upload the photo.

If you are happy with the photo once it has taken, please click “Accept”. Alternatively, click “Try Again” to take a new picture.

Step 11 Selfie Verification

Next, you will need to complete a selfie verification. Once you are ready, simply place your head in the square guide, then roll your head in a circular motion.

This is an automated system to make sure your photo ID matches the contours of your face.

Step 12 Address Information

Finally, as part of the Identity Checks, you will now be asked to enter your address information. Please make sure this is accurate as it may be checked against the Electoral Role to ensure validity.

Step 13 Placing An Investment

Now you have passed your Identity checks you are able to place an investment.

To do this, click into the deal page and hit the pink “Invest” button again to open the invest tab.

Here you just need to put in how much you want to invest, checkmark the agreement, and click “Confirm”. This will create an order with Globacap.

Step 14 Order Accepted

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email from Globacap. The last step to complete your investment is to send funds to Globacap. To do this, click the pink button “Order Details”.

Step 15 Fund Your Investment

To complete your investment into Novus Black, the last step you must complete is to send funds from your bank account to Globacap LTD. 

In the Order Details screen, please scroll down to the bottom of the page. Here you will see the Coutts Bank account details for Globacap LTD. Please transfer your funds from your account to the Globacap Coutts account. Please pay close attention to the Reference number provided as this will help allocate your funds more easily.

NOTICE: If your bank account has a transaction limit, you can split your transfers into multiple deposits using the same reference number provided.

Step 16 Investment Complete

Once your funds have been transferred, you will receive an official welcome email, welcoming you to Novus Black.

In this email, you will receive confirmation that we have received your funds and a letter that details how to access your online account at Novus Black.

Important Information

Please note that money is held at Globacap LTD in their client account with Coutts bank. Client funds are held until the 1st and 15th of each month at which time they will be forwarded on to the Fund’s brokerage accounts and enter trading activity. No trading profit will be generated during the time the funds are held within the Globacap LTD Coutts bank account. Therefore ROI payments will be accrued from the date at which the funds move from Globacap LTD to the Fund’s brokerage accounts. For further information regarding Globacap LTD, it’s FCA regulated status, and its involvement with the Fund, please consult the Fund’s Information Memorandum which is available upon request for suitable investors.

Important Notice Regarding Regulatory Requirements Imposed on MCI Global Investment Advisors Limited

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has granted MCI Global Investment Advisors Limited’s (FRN 948996 (MCI) application to place requirements on it, which will impact the management of Novus Black Fund Ltd (NBF). These regulatory actions are intended to protect the interests of investors.

Key Details of the Requirements:

Novus Black Fund UK Ltd:

  • No new activity will be conducted on any broker accounts held for NBF.
  • All open positions at brokers will be closed, including the netting off of any fully hedged positions.
  • Daily reporting of the broker account balances will be provided to the FCA until further instructions are received.
  • Broker balances will be transferred in accordance with FCA written instructions.
